The Careers Advisory Service works with other University staff in some key areas:

  • Dedicated Careers Adviser - Who is the Adviser for my Department?
  • Talks to Final Year students giving information on destinations of previous graduates and encouraging attendance at information fairs, talks and presentations by Employers and Careers Service Staff.
  • Input into any key skills programmes departments may run e.g. advice on interview skills, applications and CVs.
  • Liaison meetings with other Service Departments to ensure effective understanding of purpose and referral procedures
